Cobras are always a favorite prey of mongoose, intense fights will happen when these 2 animals meet anywhere.

The video below is a rare sight when a mongoose is trying to take down a giant king cobra.

The scene takes place in a forest, a giant cobra lurking in the rocks and then quickly spotted by a small mongoose.

The mongoose climbed onto the rock and tried to sneak up on the cobra from behind, the fight was fierce and then the snake chose to run up the tree.

For the safety of people, the snake was later captured and released to a safe place.
