In the clip, a king cobra is having a confrontation with a brocade python in the bushes before deciding to rush into each other. Both are fighting for the upper hand in the context of being dragged into a duel for survival.

The python seemed to be the more proactive one, so it gained the upper hand and coiled itself around the cobra with the aim of squeezing it to death. However, the cobra also responded by biting the python’s neck and then trying to release venom to paralyze the opponent.

When thinking that the cobra died because of the opponent’s squeeze, its venom worked. At this point, when the venom has absorbed, the python begins to weaken and the tightening ring also loosens.
