Meet the enemy who killed the baby, the hyena takes revenge in cold blood, making the victim “not as good as dead”

Wild dogs and hyenas both have the habit of living in groups, the fights between them are a common occurrence.

The hyenas are known to be ruthless and cold-blooded, and they are one of the few carnivores willing to eat other carnivores. The video below, shot at the Sabi Sand private game reserve southwest of Kruger National Park, South Africa, testifies to this.

When encountering an African wild dog with a lion’s injury on its hind leg, this hyena realized it was one of the enemies that caused the hyena cub’s death not long ago. The hyena had an extremely cold and scary revenge.

It lies next to the victim as if nothing happened, the hyena patiently stands beside the enemy without showing any aggression. However, the invisible pressure on the feral dog’s psyche is enormous because it knows today will be its end.

Wild dogs mustered the last bit of strength to get up and fight back but in vain, with the advantage of size even a healthy wild dog is no match for the hyena. The hyena lay next to the wild dog for nearly 30 minutes, but for the dog, time seemed endless.

In the end, the dog was also avenged by the enemy by repeatedly attacking the injured hind legs and could only wait to die. The wild dog was tormented “life is not as good as death” and eventually died at the hands of a hyena.
