Giant forest elephant uses 2m long tusks to pierce the leopard’s belly, becoming a superhero to rescue baby monkeys from death’s claws

Monkeys are four legged animals belonging to the class of mammals and primates. There are three major groups of monkeys: New World monkeys, Old World monkeys, and tailless monkeys.

Old World monkeys are the common name for a family of primates called Cercopithecidae. Today’s Old World monkeys are native to Africa and Asia, living in a wide variety of environments: from tropical rainforests, savannas, and scrub forests to alpine habitats, they were also once found throughout Europe in the past.

They also face potential threats to growth and survival from humans or superior predators such as leopards.

The baby monkey was playing with his mother on the ground and their flocks were quite far away when caught the eye of a leopard lurking nearby.

The leopard with its skillful hiding skills was approaching the mother and the monkeys, but it couldn’t avoid the sight from a monkey in the herd above to see and signal the mother and daughter to return to her  herd.

The leopard saw this and rushed to chase after the two monkeys, but they also managed to climb the tree with their herd to avoid the leopard’s attack.

But not because of that, the leopard showed how it also has great tree climbing skills, quickly catching up with the younger monkeys in the herd and attacking it to the ground.

Before he could rejoice because he was about to have baby monkey meat to eat, the leopard was anxious to let the baby monkey escape and hide around the tree to avoid the next attack of the leopard.

In the distance, the big forest elephant saw the leopard trying to attack the baby monkey and rushed to gouge and beat the leopard several painful blows.

The leopard was suddenly attacked by a wild elephant, scared by its power, had to leave in pain, the mother monkey in the tree saw her baby still alive and jumped down to pick it up and climb back up the tree.

The timely arrival of the wild elephant saved the baby monkey from dying in front of the leopard’s claws, making the monkeys excited and grateful, and the leopard was afraid to approach.
