In the deep riverbed of Lion Sands, a life and death battle was taking place. A lioness, with fierce and determined eyes, attacked a huge hippo. She jumped onto the hippo’s back, her sharp claws digging into the thick skin, her sharp white fangs tearing fiercely. The tension was high, as both species were fighting for their lives.

However, contrary to the lion’s plan, the giant hippo still stood firm like a wall. Even though the lion used all its strength, it could not knock this heavyweight opponent into the water. As time passed, fatigue began to take over the lion. After hours of struggling without being able to defeat its enemy, it was forced to give up, releasing its claws from its prey. The hippopotamus, after a gruesome battle, returned to freedom, while the lion quickly retreated into the darkness, with only the last bit of strength left to retreat.

The hippopotamus, seemingly slow and harmless, is actually one of the most dangerous animals in Africa. It has almost no natural predators due to its overwhelming size and strength. However, in rare moments when a lone, young, or old hippopotamus becomes a target, even the most formidable predator, the lion, will not hesitate to attack. But this confrontation is just a testament to the fearsomeness of the hippopotamus – a monster hidden behind a rough appearance.
