Angry hippo s Three lions as they approach their territory even though they only try to swim across the river

The phrase “kings of the jungle” is frequently used to describe lions. The majority of the time, this is accurate because they are naturally aggressive, territorial, and dominant animals. They are excellent ʜᴜɴᴛers and won’t leave their lands without a solid reason. However, they will inevitably have to travel over ʀɪsᴋy terrain and take ʀɪsᴋs, just like any other animals, especially when their situation calls for it.

In Bᴏᴛsᴡᴀɴᴀ, a lion pride was attempting to cross the Selinda spillway. They were definitely aware of the hippos nearby, but they felt the need to cross the river despite this awareness. As they began to cross, they became aware that they were in already-claimed, uncharted seas. Was it however too late to reverse course?

Hippos are infamous for being extremely ᴅᴇᴀᴅly creatures and for being fiercely territorial, especially when people approach them too ᴄʟᴏsᴇly. Due to the fact that they had recently witnessed these enormous lions approaching their domain, the four lions crossing presented a ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴛ to the hippos, oblivious to the fact that the cats were probably just attempting to cross.

The one hippo sets off on a mission to get the lions out of the water, not necessarily to devour the lion or even seriously harm it. Just to make it clear that they don’t accept unauthorized visitors into their home.

Two lions were able to successfully cross the river, but the other two were able to quickly turn around and swim back to the opposite bank. Overall, no lions suffered serious injuries. The other half of the pride, however, had not yet decided how to return to their pride members who were on the other side.
