Passionate about hunting, the snow leopard slipped and fell from the mountainside hundreds of meters high

Although the fall seemed quite serious, the snow leopard still proved strong when it was determined to hold onto its prey.
The thrilling chase taking place on this snow-white mountainside was captured by photographer Vipul Ramanuj.

According to Earthtouchnews, snow leopards are considered “ghosts of the mountain”. Thanks to a special body structure and coat color suitable for the environment, the snow leopard can move and camouflage without any animals noticing.

In addition, their strong leg strength allows them to jump up to 10m high, with that ability, it is difficult for the prey of the snow leopard to escape. However, there are also certain difficulties faced by this predator.

As seen in the video above, after pounced on the prey, the snow leopard missed the momentum, slipped and fell from a very high mountainside (about 300ft, equivalent to more than 100m). Both it and the prey seem to be stuck together because the snow leopard, no matter how painful the fall, is determined not to let go.

The result of that determination is a well-deserved meal. According to photographer Vipul Ramanuj, after the fall, the mountain sheep was motionless, no longer reflecting. The price for this, however, is that the snow leopard also suffered a decent shoulder injury.
