Too engrossed in playing on the lawn, the baboon “ignored” the warnings of his fellow humans, making it impossible to avoid death when suddenly attacked by the leopard.

The leopard in Zambia crouched down to the ground, trying to reach the baboons in broad daylight.

No leopard dared to stalk a baboon in broad daylight. As a result, the monkeys barely noticed the approaching danger. Almost no animal saw the leopard in the middle of the meadow, it tried to crouch to the ground, crept every step to approach the target.

When it got close enough, it suddenly increased its speed to attack. At this time, the monkeys discovered the enemy. They fled and scattered while emitting a warning call to their fellows, but that did not stop the leopard from plunging into its prey.

The female leopard killed the baboon with a fatal bite to the neck. Although this victory is small, it still has an important meaning in survival. Its offspring will have food to grow.
