We came across a dead hare and didn’t immediately notice the python because it was so well camouflaged. Our safari driver noticed a rather small python gnawing at the hare’s face. After a few seconds, the python began to curl around the dead hare.

The python gets a free meal. The python will sooner or later swallow the entire prey. I have been traveling for many years in Yala but this is the first time I come across such a rare sight.
