An alliance of male lions hunt buffalo and risk it all for a meal as they face off against one of Africa’s most feared men.

For 5 or 10 minutes, the lion holds on with its claws and teeth. The buffalo tried desperately to escape.

Male lions are not known for their hunting skills. Typically, the females go pride hunting, with male lions supporting larger prey. This situation is different, no females have been seen in the vicinity.

Finally, two other male lions came to the aid and took down the prey. However, somehow the buffalo got up and the struggle continued. Finally, one more lion joined in, and the buffalo lay down on the ground one last time. One of the lions clamped its jaws around the animal’s neck and then closed its mouth to suffocate it.
